Summary
This new Corvette leaves the driver with little more to ask for with the performance of the five hundred horsepower LS7 to the Bose Stereo System, this is the Corvette for the true performance car lover. Whether cruising the strip on a cool summers eve, or ripping down the drag strip making that mouthy neighbor with the new Shelby Cobra finally eat his words, the 2006 Corvette Z06 has made a whole new type of crossovers vehicles But, with this type of crossover offering wonderful daily driving abilities and black top shredding, race track ready performance., especially considering that the Z06 is expected to romp to sixty miles per hour in under four seconds, and tear down the quarter mile in the mid eleven second range, at somewhere around one hundred and twenty seven miles per hour, while still pulling down an estimated twenty two miles per gallon! When combined with the standard offerings of the Corvette line for 2006, the only person who will be upset when you get your new Z06 in mid to late 2005, will be that mouthy neighbor. Upon its release it will surely issue a statement to the new Shelby Cobra owners of the world, "Just move over and we will make this as painless as possible for the both of us." Simply put, the new 2006 Corvette Z06 is Amazing.
