1990 C4 hatch

  1990  C4 hatch will not unlatch. I tried the manual cable and the power release. Neither will work. When you push the power release buttons you can hear a clicking sound but hatch will not release.  Any takers?    HELP!!!!!!!!

The hook is binding on the square ring on the glass. Get someone to lean o the twin bolts while you pull the hatch trigger.
