Well i can tell your right now I already looked for my self to get Classic insurance you need to be 25 to drive it so as far as i know you are S.O.L. The way i got my vette on the road was to just go with regular insurance from progressive (yes it is expensive) but if your under 25 and wanna drive your vette going with regular insurance is the only way i know of how to go

I bought my '76 Corvette my Senior year of high school at 18. My parents insurance at the time said that an 18 year old should not own a Corvette even though I bought it and it was titled in my name, so they would not insure. me. So what we did was insure it under my father and put that I could drive it when needed (but I drove it everyday). After switching insurance companies I went to American family insurance and listed my car as an extra vehical (I also have a truck and motorcycle insured) so my insurance is next to nothing (even at 23 years old). But other than listing as an extra vehical I am not sure what you can do.

My 18 year old son has classic insurance with American National Property and Casualty he got the policy on his Trans Am when he was 17. He had to be insured on another car for daily driving though. Their classic insurance is called CHROME the website is
www.anpac.com They were also the only specialty company that would insure my Ultima GTR kit during the build, none of those other companies listed here would.

I'm 23, but I bought my vette when I was 22 and I insured through GEICO. I pay almost nothing per month and had no issues getting the insurance.

Do you have just liability on it? Progressive does "Stated Amount" policies, which will pretty much pay out bupkis for damage to your Vette.
