Having an intermittent issue with the auto air feature on my 94. sometimes the temp control buttons won't work, and also the mode buttons as well. It's happening more frequently. When the button doesn't respond I keep tapping it nd it eventually works. I've done the diag procedure and got double zeros, so am assuming no code means the system is ok and logic is ok? I don't want to replace the head unless I'm sure it's faulty, any advice as usual would be appreciated

Seen problems before, usually means the touch pads on the switches are getting bad, hence the replacement of the control head.

thanks mech   what does it mean to lose logic by disconecting the neg batt cable? i've done it quite a few times, but never knew of poss concequences until i started looking for repair bulletins?

Logic is just like humans, internal decisions made to outside physical responses such as "I think I will push this button and set this temp" and the control reacts such as setting blend door or mode door.
