buying first vette, help me out!

hi everyone
I just registered, this is my first post.  I looking to add to a Corvette to my garage.  I live in Alberta, Canada but am strongly considering a Corvette from the states.
 
I was hoping to get a few tips on buying my first. I've been disecting these forums for about 2 weeks now trying to figure everything out for myself, but why not ask the experts right?
 
Anything you think would be of value to watch for would be appreciated. ie. recalls, options, weakness 'tells", etc

my only advice is buy the best corvette you can afford!!! any year, any color....its a vette...it's a beautiful thing!!!!

Purchase a  C6 2007 Coupe with 3LT option package also order the Alium Chrome 5 Spoke Wheels and Z51 package, I have had mine for 2 months now and runs great and looks great. Order this Vette in LeMans Blue.
