Alright C5 gurus, maybe someone can help me out. I'm having a/c problems.

The drivers side blows lukewarm air while the passenger side blows ice cold. I am unable to adjust the temp using the control knob for the drivers side, but can adjust the passengers.

I know i should probably get the display fixed as it is out, but all the other functions seem to work, except for that annoying problem of having somewhat hot air blowing in my face while my girlfriend is nice and cool on her side.

And having someone drive me around while I sit as the passenger is not an option. All help and suggestions are very welcome.

One thing to check first, the driver side control should control both sides not just the driers side the passenger side varries the passenger side a little up and down, so if you are not able to control the passenger side air to completely warm ( if the drivers side is turned to max hot or max cold it locks out the passenger knob ) then the problem is the climate control head unit, let me know if that helps. if its not that then i can post more on trouble shooting the vent system.

I'm having the same problem on my 99 Vette. Blows warm on drivers side and ice cold on pass. I discoed the battery and even pulled the #27 fuse. Didn't pull the #18 fuse like I saw someone talk about in another thread. Also, My battery was dead and had to charge it.. The A/C worked fine before that.. I did the above after I charged the battery.. My keyless remote doesn't work anymore either.. Needs re programming??? How does that work???

bmwdiver, My drivers side does control the pass side temp. I tried it and it will make the pass side warmer but the drivers side stays the same. So it looks like my climate control head unit is working OK???

On my Cadillac, It has the on board computer and I know how to clear the codes. Do these Vettes have the same thing? This is my first Vette and I don't know a lot about them. I saw another thread that said to clear all codes and it fixed their problem.. I need to get this fixed ASAP because I'm going on a trip and need some cool air.. It's hot here in Florida :) Any other info is greatly appreciated..
