when the car is started the headlights pop up and the headlights and foglamps come on. after about 30 seconds they shut off on their own.... any ideas?
i believe the issue started happening after the headlight gears were replaced.
edit: car is a 2001 c5 coupe w/ automatic tranny

Can't see as where replacing the gears would cause that. Has something to do with the body control module. If I can remember and have time, I will check wiring diagram for your car and post.

yea, so i figured it out today..... it would only happen when the car was started in the garage.
turns out the "twilight" option was turned on...
