Take two cars and spot her four hours ahead of you
Take the Vette and mail the luggage!
Better yet, leave the keys with me and I'll watch your baby for you

Just took my 94 on a 1500 mile trip. Other than a poor battery cable connection and failing alternator (after reaching my destination) it was a phenominal ride. And yes! I would take it again!

I have no sympathy whatsoever! I work on the water 30 days at a time so mine stays under blankets shut up for at least a month or more at a time.
After 30 years you would think I'd get used to it.
This situation is not only bad for the car but I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms.
I did however take a trip to the mountains in New Mexico [ again ] and had a good time.
Nothing like a vette on a winding mountain road.
Just look out for Harley Davidson's they are thick as fleas up there during the warm months.

Try living in Wisconsin where you can only drive your baby a few months a year
