EDIT 10/28/07: If you have a glass top, you can do this with enough fabric to go over the top of the backin' pad, and use velcro strips to attach the completed headliner in the corners of the top. AND, have a logo exposed through the glass top!

My '87 had the glass top. Liked it, except for the summertime heat. Made me think as I watched stuff cookin' in the microwave.

I'd Like to get one of those acrylic tops. My '87 had one to begin with and apparently it got cracked and the original owner glued some crappy  covered foam to it and painted the outside black. What a bonehead. I also thought about molding mine and laying one up useing Carbon Fiber.
Are the glass tops real glass or are they acrylic?
