Knock Module

I have a early 93 lt1 vette. My question is does it have a anti- knock module? If so can I upgrade it?

anti-knock sensor?

What's the issue?

yes it has one, and no you dont want to "upgrade" it the reason its there is for detonation purposes, it retards your timing up to 22* depending on if it hears detonation(a result of your timing being too far advanced causing the pre-ignition) other factors can contribute like heat and air density but not as often as timing

one other thing i for got to mention, it is very sensitive(so sensitive in fact, that you can tap the block or exhaust with a small 6" screw driver and it will retart the timing) so im not sure what your getting at??? but i hope this helps you
