First, have you had them send you the VIn # so you can run a Carfax check on it. And where is "down there" - anywhere near LA and make sure it is not water damaged (Katrina, etc.).

Just be sure to do a Carfax on it -- before you pay the cost to travel there, then check to make sure the VIN is the same and the one they sent and you checked. TX is near LA and both stateshave lots and lots of water damaged cars -- many now dried out and for sale at good prices, but . . . a car is never quite the same after it has been sunk.

Good point Lee I didn't think about that. You definitely want to get a Carfax on any vehicle that you intend to purchase pre-owned.

My friend has an '02 Silver ZO6 and its an awesome car to own no doubt. Drives great, has lots of power potential and has all the creature comforts as well! :)
Overall a very nice package, so I would say go for it if that is what you want.
