I have an 86 corvette with a 350 tpi stroked to a 383 with the 4+3 transmission that i just perchased about three weeks ago. Every time I give it a little gas then let off the just like revving it up it cuts off. It runs and idles fine unless you rev it up. I was hopeing someone might know what is going on with my car.

what's up, it sounds like the car is not getting any air. stand outside the car and rev the motor, see if the intake air duct is closing up on you. you also take it off,and see what it does. if not your looking at alittle work.

1st thing you need to do is clean the throttle plates and bore. Then disconnect your battery for 2 minutes, reconnect and go drive it to let the idle control relearn. If theis doesn't fix it, I would look towards your idle control motor sticking and not responding quick enough. Also, check your base idle by turning your key on, engine off, unplug idle control motor on passenger side of throttle body, then start the car and adjust your base idle screw on a warmed up engine to about 600 rpm's. Then, kill car, plug IAC back in, disconnect battery again for 2 min and reconnect and go through idle relearn again.
