Do any of these performance chips actually work? The price range goes from $20 on ebay all the way up to $250. Some claim up to 60 hp gains. If any of you can let me know which chips are good and bad, and how much gain I can get on a 99 c5 I would greatly appreciate it. I'm sure in most cases you get what you pay for.

I've been involved in a Corvette Forums for many years and I have yet to hear of any success using a chip. The pros use Predator or LSEdit programs to "map" and alter the performance characteristics if the LS1 and LS6 engines. A Chip is not the answerfor these engines.
