Based on prices around here (Maryland, DC area) and what I have seen on EBAY and such, if the mileage is correct and car is in as good a shape as you indicate and with the warranty, I would say it sounds OK.

Thanks for chiming in redvet. I've only been looking for a short time so advice and opinons are needed I guess. The people on Ebay seem to be selling their Vettes for more then there worth. There are some good deals out there, but I havn't seen one yet on Ebay. The ones elsewhere were grabbed up quicker then I could see the car and make an offer.
I live roughly 30 miles from Kerbeck(largestVettedealer) I've been told they should have what Im looking for.

In my opinion, the price is too high for the mileage, especially in winter. It must be from a dealer(?) A 75,000 mile car quickly becomes an 80K car and then a 100K car unless you absolutely won't drive it. I only put 800 miles a year on mine and I sometimes wonder why I have it because it seems like I never drive it. An 80-100K C4, the year you are looking at, with an automatic, should be priced less. I wouldn't pay more than 11 - 11.5 for it...but that is just me and my 2 cents worth.

I agree with you 100%.
This car is in really good shape all round, but the miles turn me off. Im not sure how these cars hold up when they have more then 80K miles on them? So im assuming there just like any other car and Id worry some and I really dont need it.
They would have to give me a smoking deal that's for sure. I would only pay $15,000-$15,500 for that car if it had around 40K-50K miles.

yeah i would not buy a vette with that many miles on it. I got my c4 1993 40th annv. addition for 13k. It had 36k miles on it and is showroom condition. I couldnt believe it when i saw the car. This was about 3 months ago. I dron 4 1/2 hrs to PA to pick it up. These are hard to find but they do come around, you just have to keep your eyes wide open.

Im really considering this car. Been on the lot since fall and I dont think there's been to many offers.
Id like to make them an offer of $12,500, but Im not sure if that is fair price or not? Love to hear some more advice. :)
Thanks

I got my 94 coupe with 79000 mi. for about 9k. It had a few problems with it and the dealer said they were just trying to "get rid of it at a fair price" and i think that i still got ripped off but i am completely happy with my car. It is pretty much based on how bad you want the car. I bought mine from a little mom and pop dealer. The horn didnt work and the passenger side window didnt work and the headlights needed to be replaced and adjusted. and quite a few other things that im still working on... its illegal to sell a car that wont pass inspection, but i bought it knowing i could fix all of it and thats what i did so now its doin pretty good and im happy with it.

i think that is way to high, you can buy a 1997 c-5 for $16000.00 i have seen them in the auto trader for that price. IF YOU ARE PLANING TO SPEND 15500.00 ON A C-4 WHY NOT ADD $500.00 DOLLARS MORE AND GET A C-5 WITH A LS1 YOU WOULD BE A LOT MORE HAPPY.
JUST MY INPUT.......

I also think that is too much for the mileage and although Kerbeck does have an extremely large inventory it kinda bothers me when a used car dealership has a no haggle price (which Kerbeck has). I like to have some sort of say in how much profit I allow a dealership to make on me.
