Rear bumper emblem question

I have a 78, but it didn't have the Corvette emblem on the rear bumper. I bought one from Ecklers, but I'm having a hard time figuring out having to fastening it without taking the whole thing off.
 
Ideas please?

hey mac, you should be able to reach up under the bumpr to push on the nuts that hold it in place, should be three of them. they just push on with a twist, well they do on my 80. did eklers provide the push on nuts? If not you might be able to find them at a good local hardware store

There is a metal plate in front of where the three holes are. I will check again to see if I can get my mitts in there.

Hey mack,  another way to attach it is to cut off the posts, file them flat to the back and use double sided tape or glue.  I did the glue with mine and it worked great.

What would be a good glue for this type application?
