Rear Windor Defogger repair

I was bought a kit to repair the rear defogger. It is the small bottle. But when I when to repair the grid I noticed that about 50% of the grid is missing. I will need about 20 bottles and days to fix it.I called the dealer for a repair kit. They told me they would have to replace the whole window. Does anybody make a kit with the grid wires read for installation. I read somewhere about long peices of grid lines that you install with tape and a heatgun and then remove the tape. Does anybody know where I can get this stuff or alternate stuff. Thanks in advance.
