has anyone heard of a vehicle called a perentti, they are a replica corvette australian built, during the 80's anyone with any info on who built them or of production numbers would be appreciated

Here is what I found out...looks like it started as a Holden:
"This is a Perentti coupe, Corvette Stingray C3 look-a-like only cheaper. Fibreglass Australian built tilt front body. Built on tough as nails Holden 1 tonner chassis. Engine is 350 Chev V8 with Turbo 350 auto trans. Engine has 4 barrel Holley and alloy manifold. All parts used in car come from locally delivered vehicles (eg Gemini, Kingswood etc) so spares are easilly available."

Well, there is one on Ebay right now for just over $11,000.

yeah i have one, at the moment it is only a chassis and fibreglass i have the entire interior, motor, g'box, steering and electrical systems to complete

well the one on the ebay site is a replica of the corvette summer car. the perentti i have doesnt' have those additional body modifications, but i agree i don't like the bonnet scoops
