1985 4+3, i notice when putting her in reverse she kinda make a whining noise and don't want to hardly move and when she gets to operating temp. sometimes she won't move in reverse, but first through fourth gears works fine. yesterday once she got to operating temp. i pressed the clutch to start after leaving burger king and nothing, let her sit about 10 minutes then pressed the clutch and "voila" she started right up, could i need some type of linkage adjustments or something, also what is the normal operating temp for this car as she runs on the highway around 170-180 degrees but in stop and go traffic in the heat of the day she sometimes go as high as 190-205 degrees, is that normal temp or running kinda hot

thanx for that bit of info about the temp, but would you have any idea about the clutch or linkage situation, as i stated sometimes she seems to not want to start like the clutch isn't pressed in all the way (no starter activation), plus not wanting to go in reverse along with the whining sound in reverse, 1st thru 4th gears change and seems to work fine, but then again one day i parked in a slant and she wanted to roll no matter what gear i put her in, could this be some sort of linkage adjustment or what
