What is the "ideal" running temp for a C4?  Mine is running about at approx. 225 and this seems to be a little high.  It runs at around 200 on the highway because of the added airflow.  Pardon the pun, but....is this cool?...or should I have something to worry about?

I'm gettin' the impression from other LTace owners that 225 is a little below the norm, for stop n go, with A/C... Mine turns at about those #'s, under those conditions. And I'd like it a little lower of course.

this seems to be on of the most common concerns with us. Mine runs about 225 too, and everyone has told me not to worry- also the digital is more accurate than the analog- at least on mine it is

I would be happy with 225!

Those numbers are within normal operating temps.

Perfectly normal!

I, like everyone else, had the same concerns for a while.

225 is within the normal operating temp range for the LT1 engine.  Stock cooling fan settings for my 92 are 218 for 1 fan, and the 2nd comes on about 226. Hot engine light comes on at 260.  The engineers set it this way for emmissions reasons, not necessarily for performance reasons. You can change it with aftermarket programmers, chips etc.
