After installing my service column lock by-pass Corvette C5 1998 steering wheel is free but engine shut off when i try to drive it, The question is how can i solve this problem? I think the BCM is probably receiving wrong information from the column lock by-pass... THANKS.

if it was working fine before your installed the bypass, it's probably just the way in which you wired in the relay, if you let me know which wires you tapped in to I could possibly help. the only other thing it could be it the passlock resistor sensor in the switch, check the 2 wires that come off the front of the switch and run into there own 2 pin junction about a foot down the wire ( check to see if they became lose during your install that clean the contacts in the switch and on the key. good luck
