Hey, can I still get Van Halen on 8-track? I still don't believe these CD things are more than just a passing phase. Oops, showing my age again.

8 track tapes. Man i used to have 500 of 'em. I get mad at myself now for getting rid of them.

I've got a brand new, never installed, still in the shrink-wrap 1975 Audiovox 8-track sitting on the shelf just waiting to go into the Bricklin. The wife thought I was nuts buying up boxes of tapes on Ebay. I even have an old ChannelMaster stereo with 8track in the garage to test with, and a NuTone (circa 1980) home intercom system with the AM/FM/Cassette master console and flip-down 8track option. I am Soooooo retro (retro = old, but still somewhat cool).

Bill, I think that's beyond cool, my friend. I loooooove that old time stuff. My cousin, in 1977, factory ordered a brand new LT1 Camaro. It wasn't a Z/28 or anything, but it did have the 350 LT1 in it.... and, of course, the factory 8-Track option. I still think fondly of that car today. He used to take me and my little cousin out to the drive-in to watch movies when we were younguns in that car... matter of fact, I saw Star Wars for the first of 78 times in that car.
So, I have a TON of good ol' memories listening to Graham Parker and the Rumour, Al Stewart, Led Zepplin, and the Rolling Stones in that car....
