Actually it's kinda neat. A corstang or a mustette or a vettang ooorrr a Stangray that's it Stangray. The mustang and the vette are both great looking cars so he just wanted to incorporate them togather. maybe it's got the 505hp vette engine too.

Vettes and Stangs just are not suppose to mate...its like sleeping with the enemy

The Vette should be in front where it belongs!!! He probably needs the Vette to push his "Stang" to go faster! But, this cross breed is an insult, I'm sorry, I just don't like it!
They did a nice job, but I think the guy is goin' through a serious identity crisis!

It would be more fitting to have a "Hond-ang", or a "Must-cel"!

Yea I look at that and say "what's the point". Knowing the amount of money he spent to do that even makes me sick.
It's not that i Dislike the Mustang that much, it's just that the two do not belong together.
It's kind of like a good marriage that goes wrong, sooner or later one has to go...

Sounds like ya'll are a little prejudice. Kinda like my Irish Grandmother when my Irish Father married my Sicilian Mother. He got disowned. Lighten up. you'ld think he raped your daughter or something. The vette and the mustang are far more compatible than a car and a boat. I like both cars but that doesn't mean I'd waist my time and money putting the two togather. Like the amphicar, they will never sell enough to cover the engineering nightmare it caused. And this guy spent a lot less money on his whim. Hell if I was the guy that designed the tailend of the vette I'd take it as a complement. this guy aparrently liked the look of the vette's tailend more than the mustang. If you notice he also put a newer mustang front end on it also. like I said I think it's neat. the guy acted on a thought and followed it thru to completion. I think I would have spent my money and effort on something else though.it's Kinda like training a chahuahua for a dog fight...what's the sence.

Well, that's kinda my point. I can't miss takin' a shot at a "Stang", It's a matter of "Vette Honor", don't cha know!

Hey, Pay!
I totally agree!  This is so ugly, I just can't look at it for very long.
Looks like a freak of nature or something you would see after eating bad Italian food.  Just down right sad - and what a waste of money.  This guy is obviously having an identity crisis.

I kind of agree with blueshark. I like mustangs and I like vettes. The two dont belong together, but I still dont understand the point of saying that mixing the two is a disgrace to either car. I would much rather have a mustang and vette mixed than have a vette and honda or any other import. We are still talking about AMERICAN muscle. Just because one is a bowtie and one is a blue oval, we can still enjoy one mans dream and appreciate, like blueshark said, that he followed his plans through to completion. Not many of us do that these days. Just my thoughts though, they probably dont mean that much...

I have nothing against Fords for Mustangs... matter of fact, I kinda appreciate Ford, they've given me something to beat for over 20 years. ; P

My post was actually quite innocent.. just.. 'this reminded me of that'.. nothing more.

In high school.. we had the classic Camaro vs Mustang bunch.. and we were all friendly.. but those poor Ford fans... just never learned.

I figured it out, he rear-ended his woman in her mustang in his vette.. he did this with what he had left.

...It's just a matter of opinion, the money he spent mating those two,.... I could have found much better use for. Both, great cars, but THEY DO NOT belong together.
And.....as far as  saying it's like "You'ld think he raped your daughter or something", I only have one thing to say about that....

Hey George - I was going to say Mexican food, but didn't want to offend anyone.  Felt I was safe in saying Italian food, since every drop of blood in my veins is pure Italian.    Don't let my husband's Danish last name fool you - there are plenty of brown-eyed blondes in Italy.

Well it looks like we have an Italian theme then cause I am right there with you Rita. My family's last name is Vacarro. My mom married a country boy from the sticks of Mississippi and so my last name is Canon like the camera. But I LOVE Italian food and we even had quite a bit last night!

Hi Matt,
I know what you mean - it is just so hard to eat just a little Italian food.

I should have said a bad meal and not specified any one nationality, because you can get bad food with any kind of food:  Italian, Mexican, Chinese, American, etc..
It was just my weak attempt at humor in trying to describe how the Vette-stang car looks to me.

Take care, stay safe and maja, maja!
(Don't know if I spelled that right, but it means in Italian "EAT, EAT"  My Grandmother use to say that to me and my brothers all the time.  .

I actually had to look it up Rita cause my mom says the same thing and I knew it was short for something but i didnt know what the actual word was. In Italian it would be "mangia mangia" which is short for "mangiare mangiare" which means "eat eat". And by the way... I never get offended when people make jokes about Italian food because I know everyone loves it. I especially wouldnt get mad if it came from another WOP.. Lol!

Oh, how funny, Matt!  Yup, us Dagos have to stick together!
And thanks for the lesson in Italian.  I had no clue how it was spelled, but now thanks to you I do.

I guess I can understand how someone who likes both cars might think that's cool,...... I'm just not one of them. Personally I think it's a desicration to both cars. To see that pony emblem on a Corvette rear facia makes me sick.  I guess I've never cared for the Mustake's body style. (I mean Mustang)
Actually the newest version with the Roush kit on it isn't too bad, it's just not something I'd ever own.

Nothing against you guys that like Mustangs, but I have to say that is one of the sadest things I've seen in a long time.

Haha, Like I said, I dont really care for that car either. But that is just because I think it is ugly. I LOVE Mustangs. My friend has an 01 GT that he has done A LOT of work to and on slicks he runs low 12's or high 11's. I really appreciate that kind of dedication to a vehicle. And also, some of these ricers, I have to hand it to them. It is a 4 cyl. motor, but they make the damn thing run 11 seconds in the 1/4?? Thats imressive to me. What I DONT appreciate is V6 Mustangs with exhaust and they think they have a 6 second car. Or ricers with a fart can and a size XXL wing that looks so big it makes the planes at the airport jealous, and they pull up at a stop light thinking they can hang with the big boys. My work-in-progress is nowhere near finished, and even when it is, i know there are going to be some Corvette haters out there (and yes, there are Corvette haters... I couldnt believe it either lol) that are going to say stuff about my car for no reason. I just dont understand why people dont admire the work someone puts into something.

That car has good paint, it has no visible design flaws (other than matching two different automakers masterpiece's), the body pieces all match together without looking like a jacked-up jigsaw puzzle, and assuming the motor is in good shape, Ford makes good motors so it is all right in that area also. The only thing that I dont like, as I have already stated, is that its ugly. I could care less that a Corvette was mixed with a Mustang. Again, at least they are both American and he didnt match it up with a Honda or a Toyota.
