I went through the process and it was built on my FREAKIN'' BIRTHDAY!!!! 7/8/1971. So as I was celebrating my 9th Bday my Vette was being built what a trip!
WOW! What a coincidence! Never heard of that happening before, you must of bugged out.
If you call GM at 1800 222-1020 or 810 696-4800 they will send you a free Restoration Package for your year Vette, just have your Vin # handy. PG.

I E-mailed the guy who sold me the car and told him what happened. I said the car had been searching for me for the last 25 years. He owned it from 1981 so it had not been abused and all the little parts you need for a resto were still there. He graduated to a 96. I tried to get him to buy a 97 for the LS1 but he went ahead anyway.
