Looking aT cai for my 03. whats the deal with the air hose thats on some of them? stock, and a similartype system, they have an air hosefrom it?
also whats a good cai? not too overpriced?

I can't actually remember the details of my induction or if there is a hose, but many cars have a vaccum hose off the induction path to get a read on the pre-throttle flow pressure. Many kits replace so much of the induction path it includes the air-flow sensor in which case the "hose" might be a rubber conduit with the senor wires in it. If you buy a kit meant for your specific year it will have all the fittings needed etc.
