I have an 07 with factory Goodyear run flats. They developed a rumble between 18 and 22 mph (and probably at higher speeds but can't differentiate because of tire noise). The car has 10,800 miles and the front tires are cupped.

I am firmly of the belief that Goodyear can't build a good tire anymore. Are the Michelin run flats any better?

Any other tires you could recommend?

I just put Mich. tires on my c-6 Its a a better ride with no road noise at all Look on the tire-rack website and read the reviews on the Mich tires compared to the Goodyear

I would call the tire manufacturer as well as the car manufacturer to see what they say.

Thanks for the responses. My dealer managed to warranty the fronts and I paid for the rear tires and upgraded to Michelin all the way around. Quieter and hopefully no cupping. Too bad Goodyear quality is down the toilet.
