Does anyone have an idea how I can get the hood to open from outside the car?

Last night I dropped the hood after finishing a little minor engine work. Today when I pulled on the hood release only the driver's side latch opened. I can't see the latch on the passenger side to pop it open.

Can it be accessed from under the car?

I forgot to mention that the car is a 1980 coupe.

I'm sorry to say you cannot from under the car. Extreme case would be cutting the cable to the passenger side and pulling to unlatch the other side. [:o]
