My 1996 coupe has an abnormal whirring sound coming from the rear of the casr when making 90 degree or greater corners at any speed. I can not identify exactly where the noise is coming from. Since the problem started, i have replaced the brakes in hopes to fix, but no luck. Any suggestions?

The rear end is most likely the problem.

Go to a GM dealer and purchase the reare end additive that is required for the Corvettes. $10.00-$12.00

Take it to a lube center and have the rear end lube changed and have them add the additive.

The noise is common in the Corvette and this should silence this problem for the most.
