I'm just curious about your choice when it comes to your vette's sound system. Have you replaced your factory stereo or have you maintained the stock Bose system (which has a very good sound!!!).

Our car came with a complete Alpine deck setup to replace the BOSE stock one. It sounds terrible, and I really want to upgrade it some later... in the meantime I prefer to listen to the rumble of the 350 anyways, so.... :D

I guess its the time I grew up or something, but I remember when a premium sound system meant having a speaker in the rear as well as one up front for the AM-FM radio. I guess it is just different priorities. My vette came standard with some sort of system with lots of speakers and options, which seems more than adequate -- it plays the Beach Boys and Willie Nelson and the Eagles, etc. very well, although I usually cruise with the system off and the windows down.

My hearing isn't good enough to notice sound from a better system - too many concerts when I was younger!
