02 with 5000 miles, left headlight opening & closing properly, but motor continues to run when fully closed. A light tap stops the motor. I have been told that a nylon gear has sheared. I have the gear ordered and would like any helpful info as far as removing the motor & replacing the gear with the new bronze gear.

HMM,WOW..IM THINKING ABOUT GETTING AN 02..FEELIN IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR..BUT,THE CAR HAS THE SAME PROBLEM LIKE URS,IT NOISEY WHEN LIGHT IS IN DOWN POSITION..I ASKED ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND I WAS TOLD IT COULD BE AN ISSUE WITH THE MOTOR OF THE LIGHT..SOMETHING ABOUT A WIRE..BUT LIKE THE ADMIN HERE SAID...THEY HAVE TO LOOK AT IT TO DETERMIN WHAT GOIN ON WITH IT.
