I own a 84 C4 and have been proud of it yeah its not the greatist but hey Its a vette and i love her!

I've got a bright red 88 coupe with black leather. Pretty darn clean! I kept the original wheels on it only I striped the clear coat and had them polished to a real nice mirror like finish. I take it every spring on a trip south to see my sister. 1400 mile round trip. Takes me less than 9 hours one way. Seems like I drove around the block. The time just flys by. Even at 17 years old, my C4 is a great ride on a trip. And I love the looks I get from other travelers and the compliments I get when I stop for gas. And at 26+ mpg it's pretty economical as well. Best mpg was 28.3. Worse was 24.7, but I made it home in record time that year.

I have a Silver 98 C5. I have only had it for a little less than a month, but I'm already in love. Its so much better than my '04 V6 Mustang.

Mine is a C6 Z51 with the 1SB package, Nav system, Bose, XM, dual tops and other goodies. It is machine silver with ebony interior. Are you using protection? I have added a special bra by Speed Lingerie that matches the color of the car. It really looks great and protects my baby!

I've got a 2000 triple black convertible...I love it! The new C6's are awesome, some day...by then the C7's will be out and I'll end up with on of them...who knows.:D

I LOVE DRIVING IT. ESPECIALLY ON LONG TRIPS. I GOT TO DRIVE IT FROM CORPUS CHRISTI, TX. TO LAUREL, MT. THAT WAS A BLAST AT OVER 100MPH!!!!!!!!!! AND NO TICKETS:)

My corvette is a 65 Roadster, 327, 365 H.P. 4 speed M20, Lipstick red with black leather int, teak/rosewood wheel, black top, knock offs, sidepipes etc. The car was a winner in it's class at the Chevy Nationals in 04. It's a blast to drive and fun to fix. I have owned this C2, J61 car for 7 years. It is going to appear at the 06 Auto Show held at the Convetion Center in Toronto Ontario Canada in Feb.

A very cool car you have. Love them. I believe that is the fuel injected one -- do you have problems keeping the fuel injection tuned?

My 84 is my daily driver(just bought it last Monday though). I bought it to drive, and though I have plans for it it will always be a driver, plus the occasional foray to the dragstrip, and some autocross and track day action too. Might as well play with it as intended! If it breaks-fix it and keep goin'.

Two tone color 1982 White/ Slate grey aprox 640 made in that color sceme .. with centerline champ 500 seires rims, owned for 11 years and been in the famaly since 86.

Mine's a C6 06 Monteray Red Metallic with black interior/convertible top...it's loaded, not sure what it doesn't have seems like there was one thing we didn't get on it tho. Still haven't touched the nav system & it's going on 4 months now! Love it & thinking about driving it down to the Daytona 500, but too worried bout where we'd park...I don't want to park it in the middle of a parking lot somewhere only to be banged up, cuz ya know PEOPLE don't care! Whereas the 4X4 we can park on a curb/hill side of a road anywhere!

My C4 is in the restoration stage at about 86%. Still painting the small stuff. I restored my '69 Z28 and it didn't have near the stuff to paint as my (wife's) C4. (had to make that clear). [8D]

I have a C5 Z06, Electron Blue.

We just adopted and welcomed into our family our beloved '87 red droptop 'Vette. In my humble opinion, Corvette's are the greatest car ever designed and built in the world, from an all around perspective.

It's a Black with Blue flames, 1980 L-82. Needs new paint. Will stay with black, not decided on the flames yet.
She ain't real perdy, but shes a Vette, she runs, and shes MINE!

If you cant tell by my handle, I have a 1994 Black C4 Coupe with around 90k on the clock and its getting the engine pretty much overhauled so it will go another 200k hopefully lol.

I have a black 97 C5. Got her with 44k original miles on the clock about a month ago. I get a kool-aid smile, everytime I get in her, and fire her up.

Mine is a '07 C6 triple black Kind of fell into my lap.Was looking for a C5 and came across a "used" 2007 Z-51 convertible 343 miles on it at purchase. 8000 below sticker. Still cost alot. not sure if I should have stuck with my plan and saved 20,000 ,but you only live once right?

86 vette. Daily driver, not the fastest, prettiest, most expensive, or big modded but I can say its mine and I love it. Its old but still whips some of the new cars @$$es pretty bad. Once I get some headers and new heads I am sure it will be a bit quicker.:D I have $hitty Cast Iron so.......:DGo C4s

Yet another Fifth Gen Vette owner here. I actually like the look of the FRC or Z06 better, but something about taking that top off in the summer just made me settle for nothing less than a Coupe. I too think I'll probably wait till the C7 comes out before buying a new one. That is unless they become too areodynamic and bubble looking.

I've seen some of the concept stuff they played around with, and to be honest......I hate most everything I've seen so far. I'm talking about the Sting Ray III concept car built in 1990.....and alsoCafaro's "BLACK CAR",......if they every become models similar to those, I hope I'm too wat tooold to drive. [:'(]

Well, you can guess by my screen name that I have a 78, the year the fastback was resurected, it's not a hot car from the factory but i'm steadily making the changes.It began life as a lowly L48, automatic, A/C, aluminum wheels, and I feel the need to mention the factory AM-FM 8 track tape just to see how many of our members comment on it. I could'nt pass this car up based on the price even though it's not my favorite year, the car sat outside undriven for ten years prior to my purchace in 2003 and after only needing brake replacement I'v been driving it since. I tackle one area of the vehical at a time to restore/modify and keep the down time to a minimum in order to enjoy driving it.

I guess I'm not very original with my "name" either...

Our's is a 1990, Triple Black, convertible, C-4....

Any model Corvette is still #1..... they each have their following tho..

I just got a white 96 with light grey interior a little over a month ago with 88k miles. Still a senior in highschool so i haven't made any modifications yet, (as i'm doing good just to pay for it ) and it has it's few problems, but i wouldn't trade it for anything, and plan on keeping it as long as possible.

73 LS4 4 speed T-Top. I've had it since '84 and I am the second owner. I bought this Vette when I was the sound engineer for Motley Crue. I had been looking everywhere we did shows, in papers, auto traders... anything I could find. I would call them up and ask them to bring their cars down to where we were so I could see if it was what I was looking for. I usually had to give out some show passes to get them to do it... never found what I liked. I had a break, came home to Montana and found a 68 with a 327. I looked at it... passed, and told him I was really looking for a numbers matching 73 big block. He said his brother had just bought one at an estate sale in Canada 3 days before. I bought it the next day. The really odd thing is it is all original, highly optioned, and has a factory 4 bolt main block. It turns out that it was an end of production LS4, the factory ran out of blocks so they pulled LS4 blocks cast as 4 bolts for their race program. Kinda rare, really strange, and after looking all over the country... I found it accidentally in my own hometown.

When you did sound for the "Crew" was a band called AXE touring with them?

Late 84-87... only the tours, it worked out to about 4-5 months a year, did some with Poison during the down times. Mostly stadiums and arenas, some clubs in LA. Hell... if it wasn't for the pass collection and the old resume, and VH1's "Where are they now' show... I wouldn't remember half or them! As for openers... that is a total blur. I came in halfway through the 84 tour when we opened for Ozzy, Theatre tour had Y&T, GGG tour in 87 had Whitesnake. Alot of shows had another warm up...I was usually smokin in the boys room... young and impressionable. Here's one for you that I do remember. 1991, some Naval base in Florida, the sound company I worked for picked up a Barbara Mandrell tour. I got stuck on it... and the opener for the day was Run DMC. Almost as strange as Hendrix opening for the Monkees...

I used to was the house sound and lighting tech, from '97 to '03,at Lawlor Events Center/University of Nevada.

I've been to Reno many times... but I retired in 1994 after I was lucky enough to obtain a compression fracture of my L4-L5 and 3 ruptured discs. Did it at Bally's in Vegas when I replaced a hand lifting a Gamble EX56. I worked for Sound Image in San Marcos, CA. My last tour was as the monitor engineer for the Band on the Jericho tour a few years before Danko died. My new joke is I used to mix bands, now I mix paint... I work 3 days a week at the local Ace hardware store as the dept manager. It gives me something to do... and a good way to keep in touch with whats happening in my rapidly expanding town.

I was at the '84 (I believe??) show of Motley Crue in Vancouver. Those guys really really know how to kick out a show. They were here recently, but we missed it, much to my chagrine.

Didn't miss too much... saw them open for the Stones 2 years ago on Seattle. Older, fatter (Vince...ha ha) real scary lookin up close... (Mick Mars... and Jagger for that fact)... but they still rock. Right up to their bedtimes, which is about 11pm!

Well, by the posted rating 275... but chevy changed the way they rated hp in 72 for the 73 year. Up until 73 they rated gross at the crank, and to appease the rule makers changed it to rear wheel (incidently... the same as the other big 2). The 73 was actually closer to 360 hp with a posted 395 ft lbs of torque. You kind of had to read between the lines to get there... hard to produce 395 ft lbs at the rear wheels with 275 at the crank...

Know what'cha mean... he said knowingly...nod nod wink wink... mines a 1987 full custom FXLRC 96" with a 40 deg rake wide glide. Seat sits just below my knee...'bout 23" off the pavement. 102 hp with shaved flywheels built by HeadQuarters in Canada. Almost too much to hang on to.

92 C4 very stock, with LT1 and 6 speed. Lots of miles on it, but a good looking, good driving car with everything working. I suppose there are more C4's than anything else because more of us can afford them, and the folks that are not real mechanically inclinde do not have to restore them yet.

I have a '94 pretty stock, with a couple of tasteful mods.

Just bought my '93 40th anniversary red on red. Still under 90,000 miles and runs fantastic. Im getting around 19.6mpg driving to campus and back and all that. Got to drive the car on a small 300 mile jaunt to Nashville. Most enjoyably 3 hours, 17 minutes of my life. ;)
