I'm looking at adding an exhaust system to my 97 Vette. I am looking into Corsa. Just wondering what eveyone's opinion is of their new titanium system.....is it worth it? Or just go with the stainless version? Is it just the reduction in weight that you will be gaining? Also, is it worth...at the same time, to do their X pipe? Would I also want to do "high flow" cats? My long term goal is to get around 500 to 600HP out of this engine. With the final mod being a supercharger or turbo...after exhaust, intake, manifold, headers.....

Titanium's only advantage is light weigh -- and it is amazing light: I removed the stock titaniumn exhaust from my 02 ZO6 when I put a GHL stainless one on, and it was truly surprising how lite it was.

the different in cost is a lot of money to pay for titanium and a few pounds of weight.

Since you plan eventually to have all the power you can eventually you will need headers and a really good 3" H pipe (I'd recommend buying the H pipe made along with whatever headers you have). For now I would get a really good cat back - stainless, and save the money. GHL or Borla flow thorugh is best.

If you check other posts from me you'll see the mods I've been through, so I learned from experience.

Yes. And bad thing about Ti is Heat . It does stay hotter than SUS.

One side advantage / one side disadvantage... Hard to make a choice.

Titanium is far superior to stainless in corrosion resistance and is super-light. The Borla Stinger cat-back is almost as light as the Z06 titanium cat-back and much lighter than the stock coupe/vert cat-back. Corsas, which produce no resonance, tend to sound like motorboats at idle. You can hear a few systems here:
