I've heard of the Merlins, but my understanding is, that GM is putting one out for the first time. I don't recal the exact number, but I think it's around 630 to 650 cid. I ain't seen one, just heard 'bout it. :)

I am a big believer in displacement and boost. I am looking at the new GM LSX block and its 500 cubic inch capacity. The larger, decked versions of the old big block that run up to 572 or whatever don't interest me that much - I want something modern LS7 or aftermarket heads and fuel injection will fit on well.
