i have a 99 converitble. the area where i live has bad roads and i find the ride to be jarring. what can i do to make the suspension and ride more plush. i do realize that this is a sportscar and not a luxury car, and i also realize that suspesion mods result in trading off handling. however, what can i do to get the car more confortable for my city driving? i have the stock equipment and run flats. thanks! The runflats are your biggest problem. I went from the stock runflats to Goodyear GSD3s and my ride improved tremendously. I carry a small compressor, plug kit, and aluminum jack for emergencies, but in most cases, a slow leak will allow you to get to any garage or tire shop for repair. Also, depending upon how many miles are on your car, new Bilstein shocks will improve ride quality as well.
what are the best shocks for comfort? adjustable QA1's?

If you mean "new" shocks, I'd go with the Bilsteins that are made for the base suspension C5. I believe the Bilstein "Sports" are specified for C5s with the Z51 suspension option. Still, the non-runflat tires make the biggest improvement in ride quality, IMO.
