Whats up boy and girls,
ok... so ive been craving a c5 coupe for a long time now, im about to turn 20 and just got a promising job and can afford to by one now (once i save my down payment!) i really want a m6 but test drove an auto today (Im HOOKED) Will i have issues with spinning tires? (i can drive stick, but i have a bit of a lead foot!) "i spun the tires in the auto.... by accident of course! :-)
also: my budget is around 23,000... should i continue to save a bigger DP and raise my budget? or can i get one in my 23,000 budget?

Welcome to CF! :)
I'm sure that if you shop around, you'll be surprised at what you can get for 23g's or less.
Take a look here for some options....

The down payment only lowers your monthly payments. Some dealers will want a down payment but not all. I didn't putany moneydown, I was going to put 5k down but it wasnt going to lower my monthly payments by much so I decided to keep my money in the bank. Also get a stick, my buddy got a c5 before me and kind of rushed into it and ended up getting an auto. After I got my car which is a stick he was questioning everyday why he didn't get a stick. As far as spinning tires go you can get fatter tires to kind of cut down on the spinning issues. I also think you could get a 98 - 2000 C5 with around 50k miles for $23,000 or less so that seems reasonable. Good luck with everything.:)

I purchased my car for under $23K and it only had 22,225 miles when I purchased her.
