hello,

i just bought my first corvette, 1984 black w/ new interior, paint, spoiler, wheels & ground effects. it's a lot of fun!

Can anyone help me? my driver side head light wont go down all the way when i turn it off? seems like it's stuck on someting? its annoying, when i go out and tap it or push it, it then gown all the way down?

what could be the problem? any ideas? i cant tell when i am looking at it? thanks!

Glad you found the forum, and congrats on your new ride. The headlights are driven by a vacuum on your model IIRC. Check the hose for leaks, if you tap it and it then actuates, it would seem that there is not enough power due to a leak to get it started.

thank you, i will try it today when i get home from work and let you know if that worked?

i know that alot of them had vacuum issues with the headlights, like pilot said, due to line problems...
