Which exhaust?
Want to replace the stock exhaust on my 07 Vette.
Saw the Stinger II Borla review and that seemed to be the one with the best rumble at idle and at wide open throttle.
i have had corsa before on an 03 Escalade and it was VERY nice but on my 06 H2 Hummer, i am not to impressed with the same Corsa. Both had a 6.0 motor and the Vette has the 6.0 motor. i know all 3 are built different so the sound will be different.
But I want the rumble of a 60's/70's muscle car comming from this exhaust.
Thoughts?

You will find it very difficult to get the rumble of a 60s muscle car from a modern V8 for several reasons. One may be the firing order - V8s vary in firing order of the cylinders (there are basically two different firing orders which are balanced, etc., but they sound a bit different). The car you might be thinking of from the 60s, and even many modern V8s, have a different firing order than GM V8s -- this is why, frankly, a Mustang V8 often sounds much mellower than a GM V8.
Second has to do with the RPM range, cams, etc. Some big blocks from the 60s idled at only about half mdern idle speeds and topped out at 4500 RPM - just about where a modern vette engine is producing max torque!
You could try a "chambered exhaust" -- I think Corsa makes one for the C5s and C6s. It is supposed to get closer to the older sound. They are a bit of money, I understand, so I'd advise trying to hear one beforebuying.

Well I have just installed the SLP Loudmouth mufflers with a Magnaflow x-pipe. I will say that it is the loudest car I've ever owned. People stop to see what is coming their way now. At idle, it almost sounds like the car has a cam in it and at full throttle, well ..... did I say that it is loud? On downshifts, it pops and crackles like a Nascar. Can still carry on a conversation inside the car though (with the windows up :-)
If you want it to sound loud for the cheapest price, go with glass packs. I had them professionally installed at a great shop near me that specializes in sports cars - they had to make a custom exhaust for them to fit on my C6, but the sound is great and didn't cost me much. It was only $500 with labor to have the glass pack exhaust and the calipers custom painted red (like on the Z06 - I don't like the factory silver color).
Yeah, Corsa makes very good stuff. I thought they made a chambered exhaust but I can't find a reference to a C5 model from them. Stainless Works makes a chambered exhaust, which ought to be deep and without resonance, but loud at full throttle.
