Have you got the C5 and C6 backwards in your note? Remotes for the 2005-06 are indeed costly. Way cheaper if you need one for 2001-04. Check ebay. If you're stuck, drop me a note. I really do mean the keyless for the C6. I have a 99 C5. I found the keyless entry for the C6 on ebay a lot cheaper than the C5 but i went ahead and purchased the one for the C5. Thanks

I'd like to know if a 2001 remote will work on a 1997. One has the passive switch[97-99], and one doesn't. The passive option is alot more expensive too!
