My name is Michael Mc Avoy I have a 88 C4
the other dayI herd a high pitch noise coming from the front of the engine where the intake is
could it be the o2 sensore? it does it when i exselerate and then let off the gas or even when I first start the car it stays on for about 30 sec or so.
does any one know what it might be?

No, I don't think the O2 makes any noise, unless it's MISSING!

You sure it's not a hiss?

Only thing we know for sure so far is it's doing it in closed-loop (cold), and open-loop (warmed-up motor). You gotta' fire the motor with the hood open, and try to narrow location down a little there...

Ok I found out that might be the (MAF) mass air flow sensor
is there any way to fix them yourself?
