I have really learned alot from this forum.It has been a great help with all the tech tips,trouble shooting and links for parts. I have now ordered a new ECM with vats disabled/deleted. my question is do i need to undo anything i have done BEFORE i plug the new ECM up? and do i need to remove the vats module to keep it from corupting the new ECM since i understand the ECM reads the vats mod. GIJOE doesn't cover this in VATSSUCKS. New part should be here tomorrow, won't do anything till i'm sure. waiting on some good advice. been without my Baby for three weeks now, want to get it right,...

well, it didn't work. GIJoe is full of it. i don't have the 5 v from the ECM to get things going. does that mean the ECM is gone,too?
