Is there a procedure for activating a new remote or do I need a dealer for this, it is on my new to me 98 Coupe?

It is done through the DIC, You will have to do both fobs at the same time. I will see if I can find the link to the How to do thread.

Hi bull...you may find the info you're looking for in your owners manual if you still have it. I know the manual for my truck has the procedure in it.

For anyone who might be looking, I bought a fob and 2 uncut keys off eBay for a total of $21. Had the keys cut for $2 and saved a ton by NOT going to a dealer. Kewl!
