Ric 11-04-2007, 09:00 AM Mech is right on as usual. I have actually seem them turn pink. Mine are silver but starting to change around the oil fill hole and dip stick ware oil was dripped on them. Remove,clean & paint Have fun Ric W Eagle223usa 11-06-2007, 04:11 PM I think Mid America or Ecklerssell the correct Magnesium colored spray paint to return them to silver. I thought I heard back in the day that they actually were clear coated Magnesium and it is the clear that turns brown, or pink.:)Good winter project Eh? |
