I think I will post this in GENERAL TECH also. I just wanted to add on to my questions about the previous posts I have made about my problem.
Today I noticed that my "tapping" or "knocking" sound has added a new friend to the club. Now my left front wheel has an intermittent "squeak" or even a "chirp" to go with the tapping. It seems to "squeak" when turning left at slow speeds; like 5-10 mph.
Also the"tapping" or "knocking" sound seems to only happen after moderate breaking. The "tapping soundusually stops afterI pick up speed again. Note: the"tapping" always stops while the brake is applied. It starts when I left off the brakes. The length of time between "taps" getslonger at slow speed and gets shorter at higher speeds.(hope that make sense)
I have brand new brake pads; thought it was break chatter. I guess I am hoping that someone can diagnose this better now that I have a little more description. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Kevin-zr1clone[sm=helpout.gif]
