I'm interested in purchasing a 1998 corvette from an individual. I test drove the car and noticed a noise that started around 45 miles/hour. It sort of sound like an airplane engine noise. The car runs and shifts very well. I haven't driven or ridden in a newer corvette. My experience has only been with older 70's models. Hopefully, this sound is normal because I really like the car. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I plan on taking it to someone to be checked out, but I was hoping someone might have some information.
