Hey guys, first time poster and Corvette owner here.

I was just given a very ragged 84 that has the CrossCrappy injection. Does anyone have a link to a write up detailing the conversion to TPI? I have the complete TPI system from an 85 I-Roc so basically I just need info on switching over the wire harness.

I've seen a kit somewhere for this. Don't you have to change an engine computer or something?

You must change computer to a minimum of an 85, but if your going to that much trouble, you should use an 86 or newer computer due to its faster baud rate. If your going to that much trouble I wouldnt put a stock TPI on it, the performance gain wouldnt be that much. I would suggest either a Super Ram, or a MiniRam. There are some people who have had good results w/ crossfire. I beleive CFI-EFI on "CorvetteForum" is pretty savy on these, you might email him as well.

Since I already have a TPI.....................how much cash would a Super or Mini Ram set me back? And if it would only yeild another 10-30hp, why bother? Would that intake alone, give me more than 30hp?
