C4 93-96 PKE FOB Repair
Two years ago I bought two fobs from a lady on E-Bay. She was the original designer of the C4 93-96 PKE FOB. Mine still work great. I heard all the problems Forum Members were having with theirs so I got in touch with her. She is checking on the availability of cases and whether there is enough interest in new cases for her to invest in a mold and/or making different color fob cases. I found out the following from her:
“Okay, I still have not heard back on availability of the cases. For now just internal repairs only (no case and rubber buttons). I have thought about making some cases/buttons in different colors as a very limited offering...I designed the fob enclosure as well on my dime, so I would have to see some interest to invest in a small low volume mold...I actually proposed this to GM in 2006 using the new production mold and it was not received well due to the hassle of creating new part #'s etc....seems to me customers would have liked that and it was as simple as using a different color plastic pellet...
New cost for internal repairs, (not including new buttons or a case) can be done for a flat $28 + $10 return shipping via priority mail. I assure you it will be done *right* since I am the one who designed it. btw I only re-designed the C4 93-96 PKE FOB, so that is all I am able to offer help with.
She prefers postal money order, cash or certified bank check for all payments.
Here is her address and E-Mail:

Be sure and let her know if you are interested in different colors. I do not know about everyone else, but it might be cool to have a FOB that is similar in color to your car.

Here is another bump for you. I got a blue one to go with my EB Z06. I like it, it has already saved some damage to my key fob. I have dropped it twice getting out of the car with the mail in the afternoon.

I had a small leak in 96 Corvette radiator so for $114.00 with shipping ordered a new one from Rad. Express I changed out the radiator and cleaned condensor and what a difference in cooling, temp now stays a hair below 190 even on hot days,if at low speed in trafic and temp wants to go higher I turn on the air and activates large fan and that keeps temp below 190
