RE: 85 CORVETTE 32 ERROR CODE

32 is for EGR flow and that is measured by the ECM by looking at the O2 readings. When the car is commanded by the ECM to open the EGR valve, the ECM watches the O2 readings and if it doesn't see a change within so many milliseconds, it assumes the EGR is not opening. I have seen middle 80's cars set an EGR code with a stopped up fuel filter because the car is running a little lean. More than likely, the EGR code is not your problem but maybe a result of it. You might have ignition problems, wires, plugs, cap, even dirty injectors. There should be risidual pressure in the rail for at least 5 minutes, if there is not, you could have a leaking injector or the check valve in the fuel pump is bad. Good Luck [8D]

RE: 85 CORVETTE 32 ERROR CODE

drivers side of the y-pipe, just below the exhaust manifold. you'll have to jack the front of the car to get to it....just like everything else. if its been a while or if you cant remember the last time its been changed, might as well throw a new one in, less than $30

Don't use a cheap one. Cheap one usually have a tendency to not switch from rich to lean and lean to rich quick enough and fuel economy suffers a little. Stay with A/C Delco. [8D]
