NEVER USED C5 (97-04) 5-Spoke Chrome Corvette Wheels/Tires

This triple-plated chrome wheel/tire package was purchased new approximately fall of '09 from Mid America Motorworks of Effingham, Illinois. Before they even had a chance to be mounted to the car they were purchased for though, the car was sold (received an offer simply too good to pass on).

As a result, they have remained stored inside and not one of the wheels has ever actually been mounted on a car. The tires still even have all those new rubber nips and pieces of the stickers on the treads. Mounted, balanced, and ready to go. Complete with Corvette valve stem caps and Corvette emblem centercaps. A great opportunity to save a few dollars on a new set of shoes for your ride this spring.

Front wheels/tires:

Wheels - 17" x 8.5" (Offset = 56) (Bolt Pattern = 5 X 4.75)
Tires - 245/45ZR-17 Goodyear GS-D3 Eagle F1

Rear wheels/tires:

Wheels - 18" x 9.5" (Offset = 65) (Bolt Pattern = 5 X 4.75)
Tires - 275/40ZR-18 Goodyear GS-D3 Eagle F1

If shipping will be required, the following weights and measurements can be used for shipping quotes:

Each front wheel/tire combo: 25.25" x 25.25" x 9.75" @ 47 lbs.

Each rear wheel/tire combo: 26.25" x 26.25" x 10.75" @ 50 lbs.

(This wheel/tire combination was sold specifically for C5 Corvettes, model years 1997 thru 2004. Potential buyers are responsible for determining fitment application for their specific vehicle based on the information provided above if it is NOT a 1997 thru 2004 C5 Corvette.

This wheel/tire set does not include lug nuts or TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors), but TPMS sensors from stock Corvette wheels can be used with this wheel/tire set.)

I am posting these wheels/tires for the owner, and he has offered as a possibility, meeting the winning bidder half-way (within a reasonable distance) to deliver the items to help save on shipping costs. The owner lives in southern Illinois, and is considering a reasonable distance to be half-way between cities like Saint Louis, MO, Louisville, KY, Memphis, TN, Indianapolis, IN, Nashville, TN, etc.

Or, if the winning bidder doesn't need the wheels/tires right away, another alternative could be to meet the owner in person on either April 13th or 14th in Memphis, TN at the 2012 Memphis Super Chevy Show to take delivery.

C5 Chrome wheels w/Goodyear GS-D3 F1 tires

 

The owner and I have recently been discussing relisting this wheel/tire combo on Ebay. So, if anyone is interested, now might be a good time to make offers since selling them through one of these message boards would mean that the owner wouldn't have to pay any of Ebays' final value fees.

 

Still available as far as I know, although I believe they are currently being displayed at the speed shop owned by a friend of my friend. If interested, contacting the owner via the number in the original post would be your best bet.

 

If you still have the wheels and tires I'd give you a $1000.00 dollars for the four.
