1984 vette crossfire or LT1 ????
Hello, I am needing the opinion of die hard vette people here.
I am building a streetrod and have been offered an LT1 injected motor and also offered a low milage Crossfire injected 350 from a 1984 Vette....
I am not up to speed on the Crossfire injection version....could a few of ya'll that have experience with this motor give me the ups/downs.
I do appreciate it - Steve

RE: 1984 vette crossfire or LT1 ????
crossfire=slow horsepower....Period......L-T1=High RPM Screamer...<<<less mods easier to build up! Go L-T1. Very powerful with the "Superram/MiniRam"Set up.Nothing wrong with the crossfire. Its just like the other motors. Its simple but its slow. The L-98 has low end torque but sucks up high L-T1 sucks down low butu rips it up in the higher RPMs.......You choose what you want and what best fits YOUR needs and wants. [&:]

Just for a side note here: I am not putting down on either motor. All motors are fine if they are what you want. I prefer my L-98 over anything but thats just me. To each his own....This kind of topic always gets smart@sses inloved on other forums.....[&:]
