When I flip down the visor to block the sun, the vanity mirror assembly is about falling off. I can't really tell how it is supposed to be secured in place. Is this a common problem with a known fix? It looks like about the only way I can see how it's supposed to be secured in place would be to yank it all the way off. I'm reluctant to do that.


Also, in the aftermarket, does anyone have high-performance vanity mirrors?

Can't help you but you might check with a dealer to see if they know how it's attached.
