Hopefully someone knows this off the top of there mind, so here goes, the rear hatch defroster has two rear defrost connectors but only the passenger side strut has a terminal to which the defroster is connected, the drivers side strut does not have upper teminal to connect to, so the driver side defroster connector is just dangling(about 3 inches) . The car has never been kept outside so no need to use the defroster, and i have not checked to see if the defrostor functions yet, so i thought i would ask around -is the driver side strut correct, should it have a terminal and should the defrost connector be connected to the strut as well as the passenger side.
